About us "La Molina" is located near the picturesque village of Setenil de las Bodegas, just 20 minutes from the enchanting Ronda. Our prime location opens up a world of opportunities to discover the rich culture and natural treasures of this region. Nestled in a breath-taking river landscape of the „Escarpes del rio Trejo“, our organic land offers an oasis of peace and beauty where sustainability and environmental protection are central. Sustainability and ecotourism We are proud to be pioneers in ecotourism. Our facility is designed to have minimal impact on the environment while providing the highest level of comfort to our guests. In the construction of our holiday homes we have used natural construction methods, the gardens and grounds are designed to be environmentally friendly and respect the natural environment. La Molina is 100% organically farmed. We rely on renewable energy sources, are independent thanks to our photovoltaic stand-alone system and our own water well. We actively run a CO2 compensation project and offer all visitors the opportunity to plant a tree as a small compensation for their journey. Waste avoidance and recycling, rainwater collection basins, water saving are just a few of the things we take for granted in order to preserve the beauty of this region and our planet in general for future generations. Diverse accommodations for families and LGBTQI+ friendly At "La Molina" we believe that every visitor is unique and deserves a special experience. With our selection of accommodations, including cosy cottages, spacious campsites and a charmingly restored caravan, we offer something for every ones taste. We warmly welcome families and pride ourselves on creating an LGBTQI+ friendly environment where all visitors feel accepted and respected. Your stay here on La Molina will leave a minimal carbon footprint. The building materials we used are mostly either from the land or recycled. One of the buildings are purely constructed with straw, clay and lime, the guesthouses are built using mostly the natural stone from the land. Throughout the land we use LED lights. Electricity is generated through our insular photovoltaic system... we generate enough electricity to charge mobiles, laptops, cameras.. but PLEASE leave your hair-dryer at home. The water comes from our own well.
